HAYS — The Great Bend High School boys swim team took third place at Hays.
The Panthers competed with fewer numbers on than normal on Monday due to a limitation to the amount of competitions a swimmer can participate in during a season. Because of the limitations, Great Bend only brought players who have missed a competition this season dur to illness or injury.
GBHS finished with 130 points behind first-place finisher Hays, which scored 208 points, and second-place Junction City, which finished with 149.
Great Bend travels to Wichita Heights on Saturday.
