WICHITA — Kort Cook led the Great Bend High School boys’ swim team on Saturday in Wichita with two state-qualifying times.
The Panthers’ “A” team took fifth place with a score of 180. Maize claimed the top spot with a score of 289.
Cook took eighth in the 200-yard individual medley with a time of two minutes, 16.21 seconds and finished in fifth in the 100 butterfly, touching in at 1:00.39.
Freshman standout Justin Kuhlman continued to dominate, taking second in the 100 backstroke, clocking in at 57.78.
