Oiler boys, girls make Russell finals
Central Plains Oilers

CENTRAL PLAINS 64, ELLSWORTH 49 – Oiler Alex Hickel scored 21 points and Devin Ryan added 18 points as defending champion Central Plains rolled past Ellsworth 64-49 in the Morris-Stephens Basketball Classic semifinals.

The Oilers led 30-20 at halftime. Jordan Base scored 16 points and Kaden Davis added 15 points.

CENTRAL PLAINS 76, ELLSWORTH 30 — Janae Ryan scored 19 points and Emily Ryan added 17 points as No. 1 ranked Class 2A Central Plains roared past Ellsworth 76-30 in Friday’s Morris Stephens Basketball Classic. The Oilers placed Cassidy Crites (11) and Kylee Kasselman (11) in double figures. The Oilers play Russell in Saturday’s finals. 
Ellsworth’s Kolby Davis scored 12 points.
