Oilers capture Class 2A title

EMPORIA — The Central Plains captured the school’s first state volleyball championship with a hard-fought victory over Olathe Heritage 25-17, 22-25, 25-21 in the Class 2A state championship. The Oilers finish with a 44-0 record.
