Central Plains High School’s football team still ended the game at halftime with the 45-point rule.
The Oilers amassed 369 yards of total offense.
Quarterback Braedan Crites completed 8 of 13 passes for 167 yards and four touchdowns. He also ran for 129 yards and one touchdown.
Layne Bieberle was Crites’ favorite target, catching three passes for 93 yards and three touchdowns.
Crites also hit Hunter Ingham for a 41-yard TD.
Bieblere scored on the defensive side as well, a 38-yard interception return.
Jacob Warnken had 64 rushing yards and two touchdowns.
Ellinwood 54, Solomon 28
Ellinwood got on the scoreboard first on a 3-yard touchdown run from Kaleb Schartz.
Unfortunately, the Eagles weren’t able to get in the end zone again in until the third quarter after Solomon punched in 22 points.
The Gorillas kept a hold of their lead, scoring 24 points in the final quarter to put it away.
Jordan Duvall led the Eagles with 96 rushing yards and one TD.
Schartz had 75 rushing yards and 40 receiving yards. He had two TDs, one threw the air and one on the ground.
Quarterback Tyson Martinez was 10-for-16 for 130 yards, one score and one interception.
Stafford 58, Cunningham 6

Stafford took care of business in its first Eight-Man D-II district game.
For a rare night, the Trojans weren’t led by one man rushing.
The ball got in the hands of seven carriers with Parker Patterson leading with five carries.
Patterson had a team-leading 93 yards and three touchdowns.
Stafford’s workhorse, Ethan Johnson, had three carries for 73 yards and two touchdowns.
Jesus Herrera had 68 yards and one TD on four carries.
Pratt-Skyline 52, Macksville 0

Macksville couldn’t get the ball moving against Pratt-Skyline.
The Mustangs fall to 0-1 in their Eight-Man D-I district.
Macksville had 38 yards of total offense.
The Mustangs defense was led by Taylor Rodriguez, who had 12 tackles.
Lane Sebes had nine tackles, including eight solo tackles.
Thunder Ridge 60, Otis-Bison 8

Otis-Bison managed one touchdown to fall to 0-1 in their Eight-Man D-II district on Friday night.
Brad Lightfoot found the end zone from two yards out on a run play, but the damage had already been done.
Thunder Ridge had 347 yards of total offense, while the Cougars only managed 107 on the night.
Kinsley 24, St. John-Hudson 12
Kinsley improves to 1-0 in their Eight-Man D-I district, and 2-3 overall.
St. John drops to 0-5 overall. They are 0-1 in the district.
Hoisington 21, Kingman 7
Hoisington handed Kingman its first loss of the season.
Both teams move to 4-1 on the season.
The Cardinals advance their win streak to four games.
