GREENSBURG – Emily Ryan scored 22 points and sister Janae Ryan added 18 points to spark No. 1 ranked Class 2A Central Plains past St. John 53-22 in Friday’s Greensburg basketball substate.
The Oilers (22-0) advance to Saturday’s championship in a quest to qualify for their fourth consecutive state basketball championship. The Oilers dominated the first half with a 37-2 scoring burst to lead 40-7 at halftime.
St. John (11-11) was paced by Tara Nelson with eight points.
