Panther swimmer makes state finals

    TOPEKA – Great Bend swimmer Camryn Dunekack qualified for the top eight finals with a fifth-place prelim in the 100-yard butterfly (1:02.52) with a personal best time at the 5-1A state swimming championship.

    Dunekack made Saturday’s consolation finals in the 50 free (26.0) with a season-best time. Aubrey Snapp made the consolation finals in the 100 free (58.83) with a personal-best time.

     Great Bend made the consolation finals in the 200 free relay (1:49.89) and the 400 free relay (4:04.13) – both with season-best times.
