GARDEN CITY — A quick turnaround in tournaments saw the Great Bend High School boys’ tennis team place fifth out of seven teams in Dodge City on Thursday, followed by a fourth-place finish at Garden City on Saturday.
Grant Harris went a combined 7-0 in the two tourneys as Great Bend’s No. 1 singles player.
Jun Rui Chen and Daniel Marshall combined as the No. 1 doubles team for the Panthers.
The two went 1-3 for seventh place in Dodge City and 1-3 in Garden City, placing sixth.
Marcos Cerda And Santi Talamantes combined as the No. 2 doubles team.
The duo went 2-2 for fourth place in Garden City.
Talamantes combined with Jermaine Lopez in Dodge City. The two finished 2-2 in fourth place.
