SALINA — Great Bend High School’s boys’ track and field team finished in fifth place at the Salina Central meet on Friday.
The Panthers finished with 62 points, narrowly missing fourth-place Wichita Southeast at 63 points.
Hays won the boys’ competition with 137 points.
The Lady Panthers placed 10th with 29 points.
Manhattan won the girls’ competition with 105 points.
Jayce Brack finished in first place in the shot put with a throw of 58 feet, one inch.
He placed second in the discus at 169-0.
Christian Graham won the 3,200-meter run with a time of 10:12.57.
