SALINA — It was a slow start to the season for the Great Bend High School boys’ swim team.
The Panthers finished fourth at a meet in Salina, claiming 239 points against Salina Central and 241 points against Salina South.
As both Salina high schools have the same head coach, the two separate teams do not compete against each other.
Campus and Hays were also in attendance.
Justin Kuhlman turned in the lone first-place performance for the Panthers, finishing the 200-meter individual medley at two minutes, 17.96 seconds.
Great Bend hosts a meet on Tuesday afternoon at Kirkman Activity Center, starting at 4 p.m.
