NATOMA — The Pawnee Heights Tigers (3-0) beat Palco 59-32 Tuesday in the Natoma Basketball Tournament for their best start in recent memory. Kade Scott scored 24 points, including a 10-point first quarter. Spencer VanMeter added 12 points.
Pawnee Heights has clinched first place in the tournament. The Tigers play Western Plains Friday.
Spencer VanMeter and Kade Scott each scored 17 points and Pawnee Heights converted eight 3-pointers to roll past Natoma 68-50 Monday. Kale McCoy added 10 points.
Palco’s girls beat Pawnee Heights 49-26 Tuesday. Katie Amspacker led the Tigers with 10 points. The Natoma girls downed Pawnee Heights 28-17 Monday.
