Local bowling youth leagues start Sept. 11
There are a lot of openings for our youth leagues that begin on September 11 at 1 p.m. We have leagues for beginners, intermediate ages and a short season league for the high-school-age bowlers. The high school league bowls at 10 a.m. on Saturday morning. Our program includes college scholarships at all age levels, parties, tournaments, t-shirts, and a free bowling ball to every child that completes 2/3 of the season. For more information contact the Walnut Bowl 793-9400.
Some openings in local adult bowling leagues
We still have a few openings for adult bowlers on our Saturday night league. This league bowls every other week. This is great for any person wanting to have some fun and meet new people. League begins on Sept. 11 with a short meeting at 6:30 p.m. prior to bowling the first night. If you are interested, show up and we will gladly help you get started or answer any questions. All skill levels are most welcome.
