St. John Tigers win cross country title
STAFFORD COUNTY – Medalist A.J. Miller (17:36.38) led the St. John Tigers to first place with 36 points that beat Ellsworth for the St. John cross country team title.
The Tigers’ Uriel Calleros placed fifth (18:15.03). St. John also counted 12th place Trey Fisher (18:57.38); 16th-place Dominic Miller (19:26.43) and 21st place Dylan Reed (19:42.66).
Larned’s Brayden Lothman earned third medalist (17:56.03). Central Plains runner Cole Lamatsch earned 10th medal (18:42.12).
GIRLS RACE – Macksville’s Madison Butler earned medalist honors (21:50.06) and Central Plains Oiler Hannah Redetzke placed runner-up (22:20.22) with Larned’s Cierra Nord placing third (22:32.09).
