NESS CITY — Alec Carlson won two events as Pawnee Heights athletes won four events and two Otis-Bison Cougars placed first at Tuesday's Ness City Track Invitational.
Alec Carlson swept the triple jump (38-103/4) and high jump (6-0). Pawnee Heights' other first-place winners were Madison Polson, triple jump (32-11) and Olivia Hands, discus (111-7). Tiger Jaden Carlson placed runner-up in the long jump (15-9).
Otis-Bison champions were Jayce Kohls, long jump (20-9) and Dalton Regan, javelin (135-7). Kohls finished runner-up in the 200 meters (24.31). Kaden Foust was runner-up in the discus (119-11).
The Ellis girls (98) edged Hodgeman County (88) for first place. The LaCrosse boys (132) placed first with Ness City (84) placing second.
