The Storm Chasers traveled home after finishing a road trip in Memphis. They host Reno on Thursday in a rematch of last year’s PCL Championship Series.

The Naturals have won five straight, including four in a row by one run. Balbino Fuenmayor continued his hot hitting, doubling twice and driving in three. He’s batting .356 (54-for-146) on the year. Mike Bianucci hit his ninth home run, tying Fuenmayor for the league lead. J.C. Sulbaran worked 6.0 innings, scattering three runs, six hits and a walk with six strikeouts. Ali Williams pitched 2.0 scoreless innings for his first win of the year.

Wilmington Blue Rocks (21-17)

Cody Reed fanned 11 over 6.2 shutout innings, leading Wilmington to a home win. The 2013 second-round pick allowed just two hits and a walk, lowering his ERA to 1.40 (6 ER in 38.2 IP). The Blue Rocks scored four in the fifth, breaking open a scoreless game. Ramon Torres added an RBI triple in the sixth. He finished 3-for-5 plus a run and a stolen base.

Lexington dropped the rubber game on a walk-off single in the ninth. Alfredo Escalera homered in the first and finished the night 3-for-4 plus two runs. Starter Foster Griffin fanned five over 4.0 innings, allowing two runs on five hits and a walk. The Legends return home to face Hagerstown (Nationals).
