LARNED — Larned’s annual Veterans Day parade will assemble shortly before 11 a.m. at Fourth and Broadway Streets on Saturday, Nov. 11. After stopping at the 5th Street intersection for a brief honors ceremony, the parade will then continue to Eighth Street.
Veterans Day begins with a freewill donation breakfast at the Larned Knights of Columbus from 7-9 a.m. The breakfast is sponsored by the Walter S. Chears American Legion Post No. 106 and will be served by the Larned chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution.
A freewill donation lunch will be served at Sts. Mary and Martha Episcopal Church, 803 Main St., following the parade.
