Advance America hosts a Give Back to School Drive

The Advance America located in the old Sonic Building, at lOth and Jefferson is hosting a Give Back to School Drive from July 1 to August 13, to benefit Helping Hands Pre-School.
The company will be collecting school supplies, including paper, pencils, and notebooks, as well as Box Tops for Helping Hands Pre-School. Community members who donate to the drive can enter to win a backpack full of school supplies.
“Our commitment to serving the community extends beyond the walls of our center,” said Geri Engel, Divisional Director of Operations. “We are proud to support the education of children right in our own neighborhood through our Give Back to School program.”
Everyone in the community is invited to join Advance America’s Give Back to School Celebration that will take place from lO a.m. to 3 p.m. on Aug. 9, at the Advance America at 2800 E. lOth St., Great Bend. The event will include: Dare Officer, hot dogs and drinks, coloring contest and face painting.
“Our company has built its foundation on being a part of the communities we serve, and events like these are central to our commitment to giving back,” said Jamie Fulmer, vice president of public affairs for Advance America.
