2012 YF&R Leaders Conference
The state committee of KFB Young Farmers & Ranchers saw a record attendance of more that 480 at the 2012 YF&R Leaders Conference in Wichita. Those attending from Barton County were; front row left to right Vic Martin, Jamie Stroud, Kristin Wondra; back row left to right, Brad Birzer, Chase Kruse, Kyle Grant and Jesse Broce. Attendees were inspired by Chris Chinns personal story of standing up for her own Missouri hog farm and agricultrue during the opening session. Other highlights included a Farm American display featuring #78 NASCAR show vehicle along with a workshop from a NASCAR spokesperson and a closing keynote from 2011 Miss America Teresa Sscanlin.
