The Great Bend Chamber of Commerce staff and Ambassador Club joined Aly’s Dance Studio staff and students for a ribbon cutting, celebrating the new chamber member and the start of the dance season. Aly’s Dance Studio, located at 1701 K-96, opened on May 11.

Studio owner Alyson Smith spoke about her childhood dreams of one day owning a studio and being blessed to see that day come to fruition.

The studio provides safe and fun dance services to children and adults. Services include dance classes, choreography, shoe sizing and merchandise sales. Aly’s Dance Studio customers are males and females of all ages. Students can start as soon as they can walk with the Tiny Tots program, and classes go all the way up to adult age.

“We will allow anyone who wants to express their passion for dance and help them not only grow as dancers but as individuals,” Smith said.

“We are a faith-driven dance studio, where we hold high morals for our dancers with age-appropriate choreography, music, and costumes,” she said. Her six employees are well established in the community and have close relationships with their dance families.
