The certified public accounting firm of Adams, Brown, Beran & Ball, Chartered (ABBB) announced the promotion of Patrick Cowan.  

Cowan joined the ABBB team in 2014 in the information technology department. With this promotion, he moves from an IT support specialist to the firm’s network administrator and will be responsible for the firm’s network infrastructure and security.    

“Congratulations to Patrick on his promotion,” said Brian Staats, CPA, CGMA, managing partner of ABBB. “We look forward to his continued success and development in his new role.”  

Cowan is a 2010 graduate of Hoisington High School and a 2012 graduate of Barton Community College, where he earned an associate degree in computer systems networking and telecommunications. In addition to his duties at the firm, he is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in management information systems through Fort Hays State University’s Virtual College. In the community, Cowan is a board member of both the United Way of Central Kansas and Barton Community College’s IT advisory board. He is also actively involved with the Barton County Young Professionals.

When away from the office, he enjoys golfing, working out and spending time with friends and family. Cowan resides in Great Bend with his wife Karisa.
