Crop Quest announces key leadership transitions that took effect on July 1, marking a new chapter in the company’s ongoing commitment to agronomic excellence.
Kevin Hecht, a dedicated member of their team for 14 years, has been appointed President. His journey with Crop Quest began as an Agronomy Intern and evolved through roles such as Agronomist and Precision Ag Specialist, making him uniquely equipped to lead the company forward. He has relocated from Ulysses to Dodge City.
Former President Dwight Koops, a founding member of Crop Quest in 1992, has transitioned to the role of CEO and will continue to guide the company until his retirement at the end of 2025. Dwight’s leadership has been instrumental in Crop Quest’s success, and he is confident in Kevin’s ability to steer the company forward.
“I am excited to step into this role and work with our exceptional team,” Hecht said. “We have a remarkable group of professionals, and I am honored to lead them as we continue to innovate and serve our farmers.”
Crop Quest remains committed to advancing agriculture through its employee-owned model, ensuring that every team member shares in the company’s mission and values.
