Doonan Specialized Trailer LLC, a leading manufacturer of platform trailers, including custom flatbeds, drop decks, oilfield trailers, extendibles, RGN lowbeds and double drops, announced today that Michael Hinton has joined the company as Manager of Marketing & Inside Sales.
Mr. Hinton will report to Co-Managers, Mike Gordy and Elgen Reynolds. In his new role, Hinton will lead and oversee the planning and implementation of Doonan’s North American sales and marketing activities in support of the company’s “Best in Class” dealer network, build and foster dealer and customer relationships, identify trailer market opportunities and develop product strategies and communications for all lines. This key position will be strategically-focused to drive market share and revenue.
A Kansas native, Mr. Hinton is a highly respected and congressionally recognized marketer. He brings more than 30 years of diversified sales, marketing and leadership experience to the company. Before joining Doonan, Mr. Hinton served as Marketing Manager, US Feed Operations with Hubbard Feeds Inc., an operating division of Ridley, Inc. headquartered in Mankato, Minn. Prior to Hubbard, Michael served six years as Director of Sales & Marketing for a Missouri based manufacturing company. Earlier in his career, Michael held entrepreneurial and leadership roles in a variety of industries, which provided him with broad experience in all aspects of sales and marketing.

Michael holds an undergraduate degree from Wichita State University. He has relocated to Great Bend with his wife, Tonya, and daughter, Melissa.
