Charlie Lamb and JR Suppes have over fifty years of combined experience in the automotive industry. The two business partners had worked together as colleagues for several years before launching their own small business last September. Eagle Tire LLC is a full-service tire center located at 10th & Main in Great Bend. Their wives, Brenda and Amy, also help out with the administrative side of the business.
“We pride ourselves on a strong background, and want the community to know that we provide good, honest service at a fair price,” Charlie says. “We treat people the way they want to be treated.”
The small business started out with just a service truck, doing work for commercial clients in the field. After a busy month in business, they expanded to a small shop on Washington Street in Great Bend. “We still offer 24-hour on-call service for our commercial customers, and are one of the few automotive shops that can service vehicles on-site instead of just at our shop,” Charlie says. “Commercial clients can call me anytime on my cell phone at 620-797-4797.”
Eagle Tire offers brakes, laser alignment service, and sales and installation for wheels and tires for a wide variety of vehicles. “We can order tires and wheels for agricultural and commercial vehicles, consumer vehicles, light and heavy duty trucks, recreational vehicles, and more,” Charlie says. “We custom order our tires, and they come in the next business day. We can get almost anything.”
