Harrison takes new position with Farmers Bank

The Board of Directors of Farmers Bank and Trust, N.A. has appointed Brian Harrison to a new position as director of business development as part of the next strategic plan for the banking corporation. “ Brian will be taking on responsibilities of business development, reflecting the bank’s commitment to strengthening and developing banking relationships as we move into a new phase of growth,” said to Gene Dikeman, president.
Harrison has been employed by Farmers Bank and Trust for over 20 years with responsibilities of branch manager and lending. He led a team that opened a bank branch in downtown Great Bend, managing and building the branch for over 14 years and later relocating to the main office. He has been actively involved in the community over the years, serving in various capacities with non-profit organizations and community projects and committees.
Farmers Bank andTrust has assets of $650 million and one of the strongest capital accounts in the state, with locations in Great Bend, Albert, LaCrosse, Kinsley, Bazine, Larned, Overland Park and Liberty, Mo.
