ELLINWOOD — Sunflower Bank has donated $266 to the Ellinwood Hospital Foundation in 2024. Money is raised when healthcare professionals enrolled in the program use registered Sunflower Bank debit cards. Every time a registered card is used to make a purchase as a “credit” transaction, the bank donates 5¢ to the Foundation.  

“This foundation has been committed to supporting the health of our community and our people, so we are proud to support their efforts,” commented Becca Maxwell, Community Development Officer for Sunflower Bank. “Teaming up with medical providers, such as Ellinwood Hospital Foundation, supports our mission of ‘Bringing out the Best in the Lives We Touch...Creating Possibility’ and allows us the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of the people in the communities we serve.

The donation and partnership with Ellinwood Hospital Foundation is part of Sunflower Bank’s Healthcare Professional Program that started in 2007 and has donated to healthcare foundations across Kansas, Colorado, and Missouri. 

Since 2020, Sunflower Bank, N.A. has donated over $530,000 to charitable organizations and its employees have logged over 16,000 volunteer hours in their communities.
