Don and Lucille Davis of Great Bend will celebrate their 50th anniversary with a reception from 2 to 4 p.m. on July 24 at the Front Door, 1615 10th. Hosts for the event will be their children, Jeff and Margo Davis of Ottawa, Dawn and Scott Sisson and Jami and Kyle Reed, all of Great Bend. They have eight grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.

Don Davis and Lucille Karlin were united in marriage on July 29, 1961 in Great Bend. Don is a truck driver Wal-mart and Lucille is retired.
