Olen and Florence Svoboda will be celebrate their 40th anniversary on May 31, with a card shower.
The couple was united in marriage on May 31, 1975, at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Great Bend. The couple has four children, Dara and Deric Griffis of Hutchinson, Andrew Svoboda of Holyrood, Janae Svoboda of Great Bend, and Leane and Johnny Wistuba of Lawrence; and three grandchildren, Daria, Sawyer, and Rowdy. The family will celebrate with a dinner.
