Student Library Assistant Hytomi Nuno will be focusing on different seniors throughout the year to spotlight, and this will be featured in our Check It Out column. Today’s Senior Spotlight is Cale Batchman.

Cale is a senior at Ellinwood High School. His family members are his mom and dad, Mark and Cassie Batchman. “Diary of a Wimpy Kid” are Cale’s favorite books, because they are funny. His favorite quote is, “Don’t stop when you’re tired, stop when you’re done.” ~ David Goggins.

Going through two years of wrestling is Cale’s favorite thing about EHS. Cale’s advice to underclassmen is just don’t let your homework build up; it’s much easier to stay on top of it.

Cale plans to go to North Central Kansas Technical College in Hays next year for plumbing and HVAC. We wish Cale a great year in his senior chapter!
