Placeholder Image

Lester “Buck” Lindsay celebrated his 80th birthday at his home in Olmitz with his family. He was born Sept. 28, 1930 at home on a farm at rural Olmitz to Charles and Caroline Lindsay. Buck grew up with three brothers and one sister. He served in the army in Korea and is a life long member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars. Buck married Dolores Brewer in 1961 and was married for 49 years raising three daughters, a son, and currently a grandson at home. He enjoys his three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren with another on the way. He likes spending time outdoors and is still driving heavy equipment in Olmitz to keep roads clear. He is a definite fan of the Otis/Bison Cougars, watching his grandson play football.
A meal was shared, and he was visited by all of his children from out of town among other family members.
Cards may be sent to Box 96, Olmitz, KS.
