Great Bend Optimist awards banquet
The Great Bend Optimist awards banquet was held on Aug. 25 at the Walnut Bowl. Pictured are the award winners. They sponsor a number of youth activities throughout the year including Camp Hope; Essay contest; the Hugh OBrian Youth Leadership (HOBY); FBLA; Pitch, Hit, and Run; and the upcoming Punt, Pass and Kick, which will be held on Sept. 22nd. The club meets every Monday at noon at the Walnut bowl.
