Parnassus Club Annual Vocal and Piano Auditions

On March 5, The Parnassus Club held its annual vocal and piano auditions at Barton Community College Fine Arts Building. The 1st place piano award was given to Hannah Mosier of Great Bend, 2nd place piano award was given to Taylor Fry of Great Bend, and 3rd place piano award was given to Hannah Wilborn of Hoisington. Tiffany Harms, piano instructor at McPherson College and formerly of Great Bend judged the piano contestants. Piano teachers entering piano students were Lorrie Stickney, Connie Schneweis and Karole Erikson. The vocal contest winners were: 1st place, Andrew Koster of Great Bend, 2nd place, Holly Mosier of Great Bend and 3rd place, Rachel Herter of Larned. Vocal Honorable Mentions were given to Joelle Keith of Larned and Estella Schumaker of Great Bend. Voice teachers entering students were Glenna Gaunt and Betty Erikson. The vocal judge was Jodi Frisbee Reese of Dodge City.
