The Progress Club met on Oct. 3 at the home of Sharon Jones. Darlene Mathers and Ruth Lowery were co-hostesses. Seventeen members were present.
Sharon Jones gave an informative program on the “Top Secret Rosies”, the women of World War II who did the mathematical calculations to compute the trajectory of air and ground missiles.
The next meeting will be held on Nov. 7 at the home of Darlene Boley.
