Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 3111 and its Ladies Auxiliary met on Oct. 25 at the Post Home.
Danielle Brown of Hoisington and Kelli Gersternkorn of Great Bend were accepted into membership.
The charter was draped in memory of Christine Beakey.
It was decided to donate $100 to the Fire Department for material.
The Seventh District VFW Post and Auxiliary Fall Conference was held in Harper on Oct. 30.
“Buddy” Poppy Days will be held on Nov. 6 through Nov. 12
Remember to fly your flag on Nov. 11, Veterans Day and Nov. 24, Thanksgiving Day.
The next meeting will be held on Nov. 22 at the Post Home.
