Encounter Church invites young couples to an Indoor Volleyball Date Night on Friday, May 13. Participants will gather at 6:30 p.m. at Encounter Church, 601 Patton Road in Great Bend, for snacks and desserts (bring something to share). Then the indoor volleyball will start.

No childcare will be provided for this one, so get a sitter.

You do not have to be good at volleyball to join in but sponsors said that you will definitely want to stretch beforehand. Those planning to attend are asked to respond “Going” on the church’s Facebook event page.

The Encounter Church Young Couples group is open to all engaged and married couples with kids still living at home (or no kids at all). This group is facilitated by volunteers from Encounter Church but is open to anyone from the community. The goal is to provide a safe and low-pressure place to meet people and enjoy fellowship, regardless of where you normally go to church.
