Free archery program for kids available April 7

The Kansas Wetlands Education Center is offering a free archery program on Friday, April 7.

Kids are invited to attend a free WILD archery activity Friday afternoon, April 7, at the Kansas Wetlands Education Center. Drop in for the come-and-go event anytime from 1-3 p.m. at the center, located at 592 K-156, 10 miles west of Great Bend.

Educators will cover basic archery principles and safe practices as they teach participants how to aim and shoot a bow and arrow. All equipment will be provided.

WILD is a free monthly program open to all school-age kids and their families. The goal is to get kids outside and off their devices. No registration is needed for the activity. Dress for the outdoors.
