Prepare yourself for a day-long celebration at the 2024 Kansas State Fair on Sunday, Sept. 8th, highlighted by the captivating performance of La Alianza Norteña. The “Tardeada” kicks off at 3 p.m. with an array of music and festivities, continuing well into the evening, culminating in the electrifying performance by La Alianza Norteña, scheduled to take the stage at 7:30 p.m.

Kicking off the festivities are the vibrant Raices de mi Tierra Folklore Dancers, whose dynamic performances celebrate Mexican heritage and culture. 

Following them will be Mariachi Los Reyes, led by founder Pete Chavez, who is known for enchanting audiences with their authentic mariachi music, showcasing over 40 years of musical tradition. 

The afternoon continues with DJ Oscar Garcia, known as DJ OG, bringing his versatile talent in both English and Spanish music to the stage.

Next get ready to dance with Grupo Los de Chiwas, a regional Mexican group known for their Campirano musical style. Emerging in 2020, they’ve quickly gained popularity with hits like “Cholos de a Mentiras” and “La Mera Vena.” 

And finally, La Alianza Norteña, led by Gabriel Trevizo and Marco “Kina” Solis, will close out the evening with their unforgettable norteño music experience. Hailing from Tutuaca, Chihuahua, La Alianza Norteña brings a unique blend of passion, talent, and 100% Chihuahuan style music that is sure to captivate audiences of all ages.
