ELLINWOOD — This year’s After Harvest Festival theme is Honoring Our Past * Building Our Future. The Ellinwood School/Community Library is seeking submissions for an art display as part of the AHF activities.
There are so many talented artists in our community. We would like to display your work. To enter, you must be a resident of Ellinwood, a graduate of Ellinwood High School, or have children who attend in the district.
Ellinwood Grade School or St. Joseph’s students may display one piece of artwork from Mrs. McMullen’s or Mrs. King’s classes, or come to the library to create your entry.
Other entries will be accepted in the following groups: EMS; EHS; College-age; and Adults.
ESCL will award “Best of Show” - one for each age group. You may choose one of your previously made pieces to display; it does not need to be a new creation. Artwork may include drawings, paintings, ceramics, pour painting, 2D and 3D art. Photography and fabrics will not be included in this display.
ESCL is accepting submissions through July 17th. The display will be judged on July 18 and award winners will be announced at Ellinwood School/Community Library Bingo on July 19. We look forward to seeing your creativity!
