League of Women Voters of Great Bend will meet at 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday at the Barton County Historical Museum.

The program will be a DVD on the ERA amendment ratification. Only one more state is needed for it to become factual in the Constitution. This DVD tells the story of how far the journey has been as of now. It will be shown at noon in the library of the museum. The floor is open to questions.

Lunch will be “brown bag” with fruit and bottled water provided.

The League reminds the voting public that Oct. 16 is the last day to register and early voting starts on Oct. 22. For information about the candidates in their own words, go to vote311.org and read what they have to say on the issues.

Meetings are open to the public. League is a non-partisan organization devoted to informing and educating the voting public on national, state and local issues of importance. Membership is open to men and women.
