STERLING — “Noises Off,” the farcical comedy that includes slapstick comedy, missed cues, friction between actors, vanishing props, a lot of door slamming and flying sardines, opened Thursday at Sterling College. Performances will be held at 7:30 p.m. today and Saturday with a matinee performance at 2 p.m. Sunday in Culbertson Auditorium in Spencer Hall.
The cast of “Noises Off” features: Katie O’Brien of Upland, Calif., as Dotty/Mrs. Clackett; Alyssa Hershey of Wichita, as Brooke/Vicki; Courtney Swanson of Corona, Calif., as Belinda/Flavia; Kenzie Galloway of Sedgwick, as Poppy; Bobby Foster of Sterling, as Lloyd; Matt Scharff of Tonganoxie, as Gary/Roger; Will Dutton of Sterling, as Frederick/Phillip; Seth Rogers, of Wichita, as Selsdon; and Wes Lowrey of Topeka, as Timothy. For some performances, Brooke/Vicki will be played by JoJo Maxwell of Corona, Calif.
