Mr. and Mrs. George Miller Jr. of Ellinwood, will celebrate their 65th anniversary on May 29, with a card shower.

Phyllis M. Alpers and George Miller Jr. were united in marriage May 29, 1954, at the United Church of Christ, north of Hudson. Lifetime Kansas residents, George was a farmer and raised Black Angus Cattle and Phyllis was a former school teacher. The couple have one son, Kelly and his wife, Fawnia of Ellinwood; and two grandsons, Saul of Ellinwood and Colin of Sioux Falls, S.D.
