Claude and Kathy Nelson of Otis announce the engagement of their daughter Dekota Rose Nelson to Matthew Wayne Wagner, son of Terry and Julie Wagner of Rush Center. Grandmother of the bride is Cecilia Horacek. Grandmothers of the groom are Frances Holopirek and Mary Beth Wagner.

The bride-elect is a 2012 graduate of Otis-Bison Jr./Sr. High School. In 2015 she graduated from Barton Community College with a Business Administrative degree in technology. She is employed as a bookkeeper at Eagle Tire in Great Bend.

The prospective groom is a 2013 graduate of LaCrosse High School. In 2014 he graduated from North Central Kansas Technical College with a degree in welding. He is employed as a welder for Rainbow Trucking in Great Bend.

The wedding is planned for May 4 at Rock Hill Ranch in Rush Center.
