125th anniversary
St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church of Seward is celebrating 125 years as a parish, and Father Rene Guesnier will celebrate 50th anniversary as a priest at 3 p.m. on Sept. 25 with Mass. All former parishoners and friends are invited. Dinner will follow afterwards.
