 OVERLAND PARK – The certified public accounting firm of Adams, Brown, Beran & Ball, Chartered announced the addition of Zach Schamaun, CPA, to its professional team. Schamaun is joining as the firms Manufacturing Service Line Manager. His responsibilities will include leading, developing, and growing ABBBs manufacturing niche throughout the country. 

Schamaun is going to be a great addition to the ABBB team, said Brian Staats, CPA, CGMA, managing partner of ABBB. He brings with him valuable experience and expertise in working with manufacturing clients.  I look forward to seeing the contributions that he will make to the firm and our clients.

Schamaun is a graduate of the University of Kansas.  He earned both a Bachelor of Science in Accounting in 2005 and a Master of Accounting and Information Systems in 2006.  Prior to joining ABBB, he spent several years in the manufacturing environment in operational and management roles such as Operations Project Manager, Director of Administration & Logistics, Managing Director of Mexico Operations, and Plant Manager for a global manufacturing business. 

In addition, Schamaun has experience leading multiple lean projects focused on delivering more value with less waste.  He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Schamaun currently resides in Overland Park, Kansas with his wife, Lauren, and their two children. In his free time he enjoys running, spending time with his family, traveling, and following KU sports.
