Great Bend Aglow will welcome a special surprise speaker for the Sept. 12 meeting.

According to the group, Aglow board opted to keep the identity of the guest speaker a secret until the day of the meeting. 

The board’s news release described the special speaker as someone who, “is well-known in Great Bend and a very upstanding Christian man who has served our community in many ways.”

The speaker his will share his testimony and a message the group hopes will encourage hearts and inspire visitors in their walk with the Lord at this strategic time in the history of the world.

“The Holy Spirit is welcome and invited to be in charge and to touch each of our lives as God would choose, inspiring and encouraging us to seek His presence more each day we live,” the release stated.

The meeting will be held at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 12 at Perkins Family Restaurant, 2920 10th St., with fellowship beginning at 9 a.m. All are welcome and are invited to bring a friend.
