Animal Medical Center with hold a fundraiser for the Golden Belt Humane Society from 3:30-7 p.m. today in the parking lot at 622 McKinley St.
There will be hot dogs for $2, or hot dog meals for $4, and shaved ice for $3. All of the proceeds will go to pay for the new air conditioner in the main building of the humane society, which was recently replaced. Animal Medical Center will match the shaved ice sales and an anonymous donor is matching all the hot dog sales.
