 Rev those engines, the 30th-annual Mid-America Mopars Car Show is set for Sunday at Brit Spaugh Park, come rain or shine.

The show opens with registration at 9 a.m. and runs until 1 p.m. at the park. There will be music all day, an “engine blow” at 3 p.m. and an awards presentation at 4 p.m.

Entry fee is $20 per vehicle by Tuesday and $25 after that, $5 of which will be donated to the Kans for Kids Fighting Cancer Foundation. 

New this year will be a special appearance by a 1965 Dodge Charger concept car. 

Participants must be registered by Tuesday to be eligible to win a set of tires.

There is no charge for spectators.

The show is open to classics of all makes and vintages, motorcycles, pickups, tuners, race cars and imports. Public viewing begins at noon. There will also be food available and live entertainment. 

The event is expected to attract classic cars from Kansas and surrounding states. Those showing their cars will vote for the top 40 entries.
