A free program, "Employers and Job Seekers Ages 55 and Older," will be offered at 1 p.m. Thursday at the Great Bend Senior Center, 2005 Kansas Ave.

The Southwest Kansas Area Agency on Aging promotes a program to help senior citizens find gainful employment, whether seeking part-time or full-time work. Staff will assist with job searches, resumes, cover letters, job referrals and employment counseling. Larry W. Durr, coordinator of the Older Kansans Employment Program, will be the presenter for this program, which is hosted by the Great Bend Recreation Commission.
