Barton Community College art instructors Steve Dudek and Bill Forst have donated art work to the Smoky Hills Public Television Signature Auction. The auction is set for 7-10 p.m. Sunday and Monday, April 17 and 18.

The Barton instructors’ art work will be auctioned live on SHPTV between 7 and 8 p.m. April 17. The SHPTV live auction is the largest and most popular fundraiser for the television station. People who choose to participate can bid on items from across the state of Kansas.

Forst donated a stoneware piece, "Blue Crystal Platter," and Dudek gave a watercolor painting, "Gambles."

Other Great Bend artists donating their work to the auction are Bev Simonson, "Hollyhocks," watercolor; Char Brown, "Tiger in My Garden III," batik; and Karen Neuforth, "Sunflower at Night," digital photography.

All proceeds go toward helping SHPTV provide services and programming for central and western Kansas
