Barton Community College art students and their instructor Steve Dudek will be featured in Sterling College’s 38th Annual Prairie Art Exhibition.
All submissions were judged by professional watercolorist Hugh Greer of Wichita to determine what works of art would become fixtures of the exhibit.  Greer also acted as juror to select the award winning pieces of the exhibit.
Dudek was awarded Best of Show for his watercolor painting “Circle” of Japanese Koi fish.
Other students whose artwork was accepted into the exhibit were Rose Dudek, Diane Engle, Karole Erikson and Jay Miller, all of Great Bend, and Petr Grigorev of Ellinwood.
Dudek said just getting into this show is a very noteworthy accomplishment.
“This is a professional art exhibit, and it is very competitive,” he said.
The exhibit will be on display at Studio 96, 121 Broadway St. in Sterling. The exhibit runs through April 15.
