The Barton County Democratic Party will hold a reorganization meeting at 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 8, at St. John’s Episcopal Church, 2701 17th St., Great Bend.

At this meeting, Barton County Dems must either elect executive officers — chair, vice-chair, secretary and treasurer — or vote to postpone the election until after the November election. 

The positions are open to all Barton County Democrats, but voting is restricted to elected precinct committee men and committee women.
